The museum of Pharmacy is situated in a Highlander’s Hut ‘Kleszczonka’. The 150 year old smithy where tongs used to be made (the name of the place was taken from the word – tongs) collapsed under the weight of snow in 2004 but a new one was built in the very same place. The museum of Pharmacy was an idea of Mr. Jerzy Cienciała whose grandfather’s uncle Mr. Paweł Cienciała was the first pharmacist in Wisła. The exhibition contains some unique artifacts from the original XIX century pharmacy, such as for example: medicines containers, professional books, herbal plates, pharmacy scales and two real pearls of the exhibition: a 140 year old sauna and a 200 year old stethoscope.
Visiting the museum after a phone arrangement.
