Samopol Cave is situated on the western slope of Kubalonka Pass (920 meters above the sea level) a few meters below the top of the pass to the right of the main road to Wisła. The cave consists of a few large chambers connected by some narrow corridors. The cave was discovered on 12 October, 1969 when the road from Szczyrk to Wisła was being built. During the spring season the cave is partly flooded which makes it very difficult to explore.
