The museum of parachuting is located in ‘Agawa‘. It was opened in 2003 on the eve of the 60th anniversary of landing in Poland lieutenant Adolf Pilch and the 62nd anniversary of landing in Dębowiec a group of special troops during the Second World War. The exhibition contains objects which have been collected since 1978 and is the biggest parachuting exhibition in Poland. It contains exhibits connected not only with civil and military parachuting but also with scouting beginning from the times of before World War II up to the present times. The exhibits are connected with the history of the 1st Independent Parachute Brigade, Rangers, Grenadiers, the 1st Independent Company Commando, the 2nd Motorized Battalion, the 1st Special Battalion, Battalion ‘Parasol’, the 1st Assault Battalion, the 6th Pomeranian Airborne Division, 48th, 56th, and 62nd Special Companies of the Polish Army and the present parachute, reconnaissance and special units. The exhibitions contains all sorts of badges, uniforms, equipment, documents, numismatic, philatelic, bibliophilic and a large number of photographs from the period of the Second World War. There is also a large collection of eagles and other badges which have been worn by Polish soldiers since the Second World War. A part of the collection is dedicated to the history of Polish civil and military aviation.
