In the very centre of the town.
The Sports Stars Alley was created for commemoration of the opening of the new ski jumping hill named after the most famous Polish ski jumper Adam Małysz. The alley is made of bronze boards embedded in the sidewalk in the main square of the town ( Hoff Square ). The opening of the alley took place in September 2008 when the first two bronze boards were embedded – the first one to commemorate the opening of the new ski jumping hill and the second one with the name of Adam Małysz – the greatest sportsman in the history of Wisła and one of the most famous sportsmen in Poland. In the following years more boards were added with the names of : Mr. Janusz Rokicki – silver medalist from the Paralympic Games in Athens , Mr. Apoloniusz Tajner – Polish ski jumping trainer in the times of the greatest successes of Adam Małysz , Mr. Jan Szturc – the first coach of Adam Małysz , Mr. Jan Kawulok - an Olympic athlete from Wisła , Mr. Jan Legierski – an Olympic athlete from Wisła , Mr. Przemysław Saleta – boxing and kick-boxing champion and the initiator of ‘The Run for New Life’. The next boards are going to be dedicated to the sports people whose lives and successes are connected with our town.
