Exposition in Villa Japonica
Centrum
st. Turystyczna 32

Villa Japonica is run by a married couple of two musicians who spent more than 20 years in Japan – the Country of Blooming Cherry - and they have managed to gather a great collection of artifacts connected with Japanese culture. They used to visit flea markets, second hand shops and places like that to find original, old artifacts. The effect of their passion is an impressive collection of utility items, porcelain dishes, lacquered products, ukiyo and kakejiku (woodcuttings and calligraphies), kimonos, obi belts, music instruments, masks, old photographs and even elements of old buildings. The most precious object of their exposition is the collection of dolls which in Japanese culture play a very important, almost ritual role.

Admission by phone booking.
