Built in the years 1902 – 1903 by Bogdan Hoff.
Villa ‘Zacisze’ was originally built for the bishop of the Lutheran Protestant church Juliusz Bursche. It was set on a stone pedestal with a few arcades. The main building is a house made of wooden piles in the framework construction. Different geometrical bodies were combined to construct the main building.
The separate parts of the building were covered with half - gabled roofs. ‘Zacisze’ is a very good example of the old, wooden architecture from the beginning of the XX century and it is also the oldest project which was developed by Bogdan Hoff. It is an important element of the architectural heritage of the Silesian Beskid - a fine example of a recreation house.
